Picking it up = the important part

We all drop the ball at some point.

The important part is picking it up when you realize it’s happened.

Letting the person know – then making it right.

It doesn’t matter if it’s a customer, coworker, colleague, or your boss; admit what happened, pick up the ball, and move forward.

Otherwise you end up with a lot of balls laying around. A lot of guilt weighing you down. An endless list of missed opportunities.
