Make yourself smile!

It’s the little things that can make your day.

Typically, salespeople can take a lot before their mood crashes. Hey – it’s what we do right?

Yet I’m always thrilled when I find a salesperson who has taken control of making sure their day is a good one.

The one thing all those salespeople have in common is that they know the little things it will take to make them smile. PLUS they revel in them!

Here are a few examples of different people’s little things:
> counting GREAT conversations
> setting micro goals and reaching them
> talking with one new person every day
> reflecting on the day by finding one GOOD thing
> ringing the bell when a deal closes

Nothing earth shattering, all insightful as to what to do to leave their inside sales day feeling good about it. Which of course makes coming in tomorrow feel like an opportunity to find more good things.

People talk about “doing what you love” – perhaps it’s not any more complex than finding what you love while you’re doing the job.
