I witnessed something truly amazing last week.
A sales leader who used language so masterfully to apologize for something it was truly a verbal bouquet of apologetic roses (no actual flowers were even required) to a salesperson.
What had gone horribly wrong to begin with isn’t relevant.
What is relevant is that the sales leader:
1. took responsibility for what happened.
2. publicly apologized without any equivocation.
3. explained the steps that were being taken to make sure it didn’t happen again.
WOW.
