Inside sales can start to feel monotonous on days like that.

It is up to YOU to make it fun.

That way you’ll sound excited to reach people. Be engaging. Not screw it up when an actual human answers the phone.

Option 1 – organize your calls DIFFERENTLY
> you have a routine, break it!

Option 2 – make micro goals for yourself
> finish all the calls to people named Aaron (seriously one of my colleagues did that because there were something like 12 scheduled one day)
> call everyone in Ohio
> you get the idea…

Option 3 – be silly
> for some reason I have a bunch of prospects who have names that sound like Bond villains (no I didn’t make that up) I was getting bored with myself so I called them all… because it made me smile and that changed my outlook.

Option 4 – race someone
> I have races to a specific number of calls
> I’ve had races to see who could find a new opportunity first

What ISN’T an option, is letting your day drift into a monotonous blur. You’ll be forgettable.
