I came across a list I made when attending a Women SalesPros event.
> nominate your prospect for an award
> send business their way
> make a meaningful connection for them
> send employee candidates to them
> invite them to an exclusive insider event… attend with them
> share relevant articles (email w/link)
> customized sneakers w/ a hand written note “get your team running”
> send a snowball
> congratulate them on awards or promotions they receive
> download a picture of theirs from Instagram, frame it, and send it to them
> make a friendly sports wager
> food – send food
It’s not an exhaustive list, but it’s one that gets me thinking every time I run across it.
It helps me remember to not be lazy in my prospecting habits.
I push myself to be more creative, more relevant, more valuable.
This week I challenge you (and myself) to grab their attention.
