“Hold tight, dear. The mess is so often where the magic is” is what the card says in case you can’t quite read it.
I love Leigh Standley’s cards – they are fun, many times joyful, often silly.
Today she made me think (as I was checking out my options to stock up as I love to send people cards in the mail).
How often do we look at a salesperson or team and think it is a MESS. Then something extraordinary happens; they earn a big deal, hit goal, do something amazing… perhaps even magical.
I think the mess is where mistakes happen, mistakes make us better, being better allows us to make magic.
The small words on the card say “Sometimes the only difference between sinking and swimming is whether or not you’re enjoying it.” Next time you see a mess, leave it be for a while (they may know they are swimming) and see what magic ensues.
