“Long Term” Sustainable Activity Levels

Here is another idea to think about when moving toward reaching your goals! With more to come over the next few weeks.

Short bursts are all most salespeople can handle of extreme levels of effort. As a deadline approaches you can convince your brain that the activity level you are pushing for has an end in sight. That is why it is achievable.

Plus, most salespeople, set short term objectives before important milestones (vacation, month end, quarter end, etc) – making that effort focused and targeted:

  • Be at quota before leaving
  • Speak to a specific prospect
  • Make x# of dials, conversations, appointments

The short term objective is extremely tangible and easy to see movement on.

The Question Is: what can I do to incorporate this BURST idea into every day or week?
