Recently while having a discussion with a new sales manager I realized something. I think managers and leaders forget that trust is not a given. Nor is it given freely.
You have to earn trust, it isn’t in your promotion – it’s with you.
> when you schedule a meeting – be on time
> be consistent in your response to stress
> listen first
> ask for feedback
> be helpful
> trust your sales people individually
> have their back
