I went to the Newport Jazz Festival this past weekend.
The guy in the photo is Stefon Harris. Super talented, yet I didn’t use to get into his stuff.
Perhaps the best thing about festivals is you can try things without fully committing to an entire concert.
So I did – stopped to listen to him again… and I stayed to listen because it was awesome & the band tight… and was disappointed when it was over.
Sometimes sales techniques are like that.
The first time you try it, you don’t get into it. It feels awkward or different than you’re used to.
This week, try it again – perhaps you’ve changed, your market has, or it just feels right.
Let me know if you find something you thought wouldn’t work back in the day, yet today – it does!
