Once upon a time… Let me tell you a story… That reminds me of when…
You’ve probably heard about using stories in sales maybe even from my Story Telling for Sales Success (video).
Today I want you to think about what YOUR story is. How did you get to where you are today, what created your style – sales beliefs – charisma – messaging.
It is time to write YOUR sales story.
Sound scary? Well it is a bit unnerving to share about yourself. I know it was for me when I was telling the story of Why UpYourTeleSales LLC?
To make the process easier here are a few questions to ponder and think of what your answers would be:
> how did you end up in sales?
> what made you pick the company you’re working with now?
> what is the biggest challenge you face – daily?
> how has adversity shaped the salesperson you are?
> why do your customers buy from you?
> if your teammates were to describe you, what 3 words would they choose?
This is a story you write every day – consciously or unconsciously – carve 15 minutes out of your day before all the craziness begins and answer the question: who do I want to be in my own sales story?
