overheard at Whiteface Mountain “well that was DAUNTING, yet SIMPLE once I’d done it.”
I of course started thinking about all of the things that feel that way about inside sales leadership.
What I do know is:
- things can seem daunting the very first time you do them – and never again.
- other activities are always daunting before you begin – and later you wonder why.
- figuring out how to go about something can feel daunting – then once you’re figured it out ridiculously simple.
- simple topics of conversations – can still feel daunting.
- what one person finds daunting – someone else views as simple.
I guess the important thing is to get through it, regardless of how it feels before you begin.
