Let’s go back to “Break the rules that aren’t real.“
As you begin the new year – focus on the RULES you’ve created for yourself… your team… your organization:
- pupousfully
- the ones that are unspoken
- as an unintended consequence of another decision
Now decide which of the ones on your list you DON’T WANT TO BE RULES. You’ll have to do a lot of work to remove them (especially the unspoken rules). The effort will be worth it!
