When talking with front line sales managers, everyone seems to have something they wish would Just STOP.
If I were to break it into categories, what make sales mangers shout “Just STOP” would include
1. things the salespeople on their team do
2. requirements from their sales leadership team
3. other departments competing priorities
As you go through this week – consider what you could do to turn that stop light, to green and go forward without annoyance!
- Salespeople on your team: talk about “it” in relationship to how not doing what ever it is, will help THEM reach their goals.
- Leadership Requirements: reframe “it” in relationship to YOUR goals being achieved.
- Other Departments: figure out how you can politely share that their request competes with your ability to achieve the organization’s sales goals.
