“I think the closest i will ever come to finishing this
is to develop the discipline to ENJOY it in the present moment.” ~ Kat O’Sullivan

I believe there are things that strike us as significant, impact how we think, change what we do – even (especailly?) when the person writing/speaking didn’t intend their message for salespeople.
I don’t know Kat O’Sullivan personally; I love her amazing sweaters upcycle designs… colorful house… online persona…
This week she got me thinking about how often in sales we’re working so hard on the NEXT thing we forget to ENJOY what we just: learned, earned, accomplished.
Finishing is a temporary feeling in sales – the month is finished *poof* time to make the next month’s goal… or quarter… or year… YOU KNOW THE FEELING of always striving for the next thing.
I’m challenging myself and you to develop the discipline to ENJOY the moment’s victory, celebrate RIGHT NOW before you begin to look forward to the better… more… or worry about the tick tick tick of the clock moving forward.
