I’ll admit it – when prospects and customers would ask when I was coming to see them / make a site visit / do a walk through / etc… I would say “I’m in inside sales for a reason… I’ve got a face for radio.”
Sure it was jokingly said.
Yet somehow I think those thoughts made me uncomfortable considering video as a tool.
I’ve since switched it to “if I go visit people – I’m not here to answer your call!”
It’s helped, but video is not a skill I bothered to master. I got “ok” at it – I certainly haven’t practiced until I can’t get it wrong! I didn’t have a great idea of the TO DOs and the DON’Ts
