This week I am going to recommend you work on figuring out how you can make the path to success easier for the people on your team. Like this walking path in Wales.
The this particular trail passes through farmers fields, grazing lands, and public parks. Which means there has to be a way to keep livestock where they belong, yet give people a way to navigate.
I have to say there are several parts to how they’ve made it easier. I’ll admit to having wondered at the time if they each were built at different times. Each one making traversing the fence even easier than it was before.
- ladder like railing.
- stones on both sides, making sure there wasn’t puddles and mush when it rains
- then the extra wooden step to make it even easier to get over
- to the right is a dog gate to raise and lower for your faithful companion to easily pass through
They are also fairly permanent improvements, that will help all travelers easily continue on their way – while keeping the sheep in the field where they belong.
What can you do this week that will help your team’s path to success easier to traverse?
Notice I say “easier” you aren’t making it EASY.
- What thing would make a sales hurdle easier to climb over?
Perhaps better questions to ask, a call plan template to use, etc. - How can you create a foundation for your teams success?
You could supply them with a clear understanding and definition of your organizations ideal customer profile. - Is there a way to give them a leg up and over?
Determine if it makes sense for you to be available to be on calls with them more often. - What pass through could you create for the people they need to help them?
Have an easier way for them to get the resources they need to be successful.
Of course those are suggestions to get you thinking. The key is for you to answer our four questions for yourself and your organization!
