At 8:30am eastern time is the Winter Solstice – making today the darkest day of the year. Which means today – especially – we have to create our own light.
Here are a few ideas of how to create light in your inside sales world:
- make customer calls to thank people for their business.
- offer to call an unhappy customer for people on your team to show them the origination cares about their issue.
- call your counterpart at your team’s best customers… where you don’t already have a relationship with those people.
- thank each person who works for you – for the thing you love about working with them.
- catch people doing the right thing and tell them how good they did!
- look at your to do list and do something for each person on your team.
- go to the support teams you couldn’t do without and thank them.
- look for a way to make someone else’s job easier – then do it.
- clean up an organizational mess that’s been hanging around for a while.
