Reconsider – change being scary

When people talk about change – it always seems to be a scary proposition.

What if instead, you begin to think about it as a season. Flowing from one into another.

Sometimes it “Comes in like a Lion, goes out like a Lamb.” ~ Proverb
or “fall comes, kicking summer out on its treacherous ass” ~ Stephen King
“Flowers do not return in the spring, rather they are replaced.” ~ Daniel Abraham,

We can also consider other ways of thinking about seasons changing:
“Give me juicy autumnal fruit, ripe and red from the orchard.” ~ Walt Whitman
“We change just as the seasons change, and each spring brings new growth” ~ Sherwood Smith
“I think that to one in sympathy with nature, each season, in turn, seems the loveliest.” ~ Mark Twain

If nothing else, change, like the seasons is both inevitable and continuous.

In life and work – the amazing thing about change is that we are in control of how we feel about it.

I even have a necklace to remind myself to “Replace fear of the unknown with curiosity” maybe you too need a reminder that change doesn’t have to be scary.
