Do you spend time thinking?

I’ve noticed something lately, there seems to be less time thinking, pondering, creating in sales management and leadership positions these days.

Those activities seem to have been replaced with meeting, reporting, and doing. Sure you have to go to meetings, pull reports, and get things done.

Yet unless those activities are thoughtful, with the value of their outcome clearly defined – are they actually WORTH doing?

Activity for activity sake in sales management and leadership are as worthless as the inside salespeople working for you dialing the phone – waiting for it to connect – then hanging up.

You might think it would slow you down to spend time thinking. You’d be mistaken.

Taking the time to THINK, PONDER, and CREATE will speed up your success by making sure your doing the right things.
