Have you ever watched the weather come in over the ocean?
The clouds building off shore, lightening in the distance, the world growing darker, the squall line as it races in your direction bringing the rain.
Sometimes you have the opportunity to watch it in reverse as it sweeps away from you disappearing into the distance as the sun begins to break through the clouds overhead.
We know we can’t change the weather. We also know we can prepare for it.
Sales can feel like that as well.
Look at the sales forecast you can see and determine if it’s time to prepare for the storm, or celebrate its departure.
Let go of trying to control the uncontrollable.
Focus on what you can do. Prepare for what you can control: in my experience there are only two things that fall into that bucket.
