Waiting is a funny thing.
Sometimes it serves us well: like sitting in the car while waiting for a downpour to pass before starting a walk.
Other times it’s a form of mental or emotional procrastination: not getting physically ready for ski season until after the first snow.
This week take a moment with both your “to do” list AND your “I intend to put this on my to dos someday” list.
1. is waiting to begin serving you well?
2. what is stopping you from starting?
If you’re feeling stuck:
> Perhaps it’s time for those difficult conversations.
> Maybe you uncover a small action you didn’t realized was a precursor before your evaluation – and THAT is what needs to be on your “to do” list first.
> Possibly there is a bit of fear attached that you were ignoring.
> It is conceivable it merely slipped your mind, as other priorities were piled on top.
No matter what you uncover; now you know what you’re waiting for. That gives you power. You get to make a choice of what you want to do next.
