It’s that time of year when people are deep into planning next year
Before you make your 27-point plan for a record-breaking year…
Before you color-code your goals…
Before you start fresh…
Ask yourself:
“What am I willing to stop doing to create more success next year?”
Because adding more to your plate won’t work if you’re dragging last year’s bad habits behind you like a busted headset cord.
Salespeople – be honest with yourself:
- Are you done “researching” instead of reaching out?
- Will you stop chasing unqualified maybes that ghosted you in Q2?
- Could you stop waiting for motivation to show up, like magic?
Sales Leaders – now it’s your turn:
- Will you stop spending all your time on the top and bottom 10% while ignoring the goldmine in the middle?
- Can you stop reacting to problems and start leading with a plan?
- Are you willing to stop pretending that activity equals progress?
🧩 Success next year starts with doing less of the wrong stuff.
And the wrong stuff is different for everyone.
So before you sprint into January, take a sticky note or open a doc and ask yourself:
📝 “What do I need to stop doing that’s holding me back?”
One honest answer will do,
Lynn
