(Spring Into Action Series – Part 5)
You’ve been bouncing.
Testing.
Stretching.
Trying.
Now it’s time to land.
Not stop. Not rest on your laurels. But pause just long enough to plant your feet, look around, and ask:
“What did we learn?”
Because if all we do is move from one sprint to the next without reflection, we’re not leading—we’re just reacting.
The Landing Is Where Mastery Begins
Inside sales doesn’t naturally offer a “wrap-up.” There’s always another target, another call block, another round of reps in the pipeline.
But leaders create space where space doesn’t exist.
That’s how you move from chaos to clarity.
From chasing outcomes to building legacy.
This is your moment to stop bouncing just long enough to:
- Acknowledge the energy you’ve used
- Name what’s shifted (for better or worse)
- Choose what’s worth repeating
Celebration Is Fuel, Not Fluff
Too many leaders skip celebrating the bounce because they think it’s a waste of time.
Let me be blunt: if your reps don’t know what they did right, they won’t repeat it.
If you don’t acknowledge the effort, they’ll assume it didn’t matter.
Celebration isn’t about cupcakes and confetti.
It’s about clarity, confidence, and connection.
Try this at your next team meeting:
- “What’s one risk someone on the team took that paid off?”
- “Where did we stretch—even if it didn’t land?”
- “What would you want to see us do again next quarter?”
The Springboard Ritual
Want to make this bounce sustainable?
Build in a “Springboard” session every quarter.
No metrics.
No performance reviews.
No death-by-dashboard.
Just one focused conversation on:
- What energized us?
- What wore us out?
- What do we want more of, and what do we need to release?
When you give your team a voice in the reflection, you give them ownership in the direction.
Spring Into Action Challenge #5:
Block 30 minutes with your team this week for a Springboard reflection.
Use these three questions to guide it:
- “What are we proud of?”
- “What did we try that we’d do again?”
- “What needs to change—starting now?”
Make it real. Make it honest. And then?
Launch.
Because reflection isn’t the end of the bounce.
It’s the start of your next leap.
And just like that, you’ve completed the Spring Into Action series.
Your leadership spring?
Coiled.
Resilient.
Ready.
Let’s bounce into what’s next—with purpose and power.
