Water Your Confidence

Confidence Isn’t Magic. It’s Maintenance.

Some reps treat confidence like it’s a lucky charm: you either have it on or you don’t.

But real confidence? It’s more like a houseplant. Ignore it, and it’ll wilt.
Overwater it with ego? Root rot.

Confidence is built by doing the work when no one’s watching. Which, let’s be honest, is most of the time.

Want More Confidence? Practice Like You Mean It

It’s not about swagger. It’s about certainty.

You get that certainty by practicing until your tongue doesn’t trip on your talk track, and your face doesn’t twitch when someone throws an objection.

Try one (or all) of these:

  • Rehearse objections you hate — not to memorize a script, so your brain doesn’t flatline when they pop up.
  • Power pose before a call. Yep, stand like a superhero. It sounds ridiculous. Do it anyway.
  • Record yourself and listen back. Cringe is optional but encouraged.
  • Stop downplaying your wins — that “oh, I just do that” attitude? It’s confidence poison.

Confidence Is a Skill. Not a Personality Trait.

And just like any skill, it takes reps.
It’s not about faking it. It’s about practicing until it feels natural.

Your prospect doesn’t want bravado.
They want to trust that you trust what you’re saying.

This week pick one confidence-building practice and use it daily. Doesn’t matter how small — just commit and see what shifts.
