Your UN-done List

Here’s a crazy thing I’m doing today:

I’m making a list of everything I left UN-done since the beginning of the year.

Yup, all those things I never got around to… or started but never quite finished.

Sound overwhelming?

It’s actually the opposite—and here’s why!

Step 1: Write It ALL Down

Getting it out of your head and onto a list is like an instant stress reliever. That background anxiety? Gone. Plus, once it’s on paper (or screen), you can do something about it.

Step 2: Cross Off the Junk (my favorite step)

Come on, be honest—some of those tasks don’t matter anymore. Stop “shoulding” all over yourself. Maybe the timing has passed. Maybe it was never a priority in the first place. Maybe your goals have shifted. Whatever the reason, cross them out and move on.

Step 3: Pick ONE Thing to Finish

Just one. Not three. Not five. One. What’s the most important, high-impact task on your list? That’s your target.

Step 4: Set a Real Deadline

Not a vague, wishy-washy, “sometime soon” deadline. A real date you’ll stick to. And if you’re reading this at the start of the year? Aim for the end of January. Get it done fast.

Step 5: Get an Accountability Partner

Tell someone what you’re committing to and by when. Then set up check-ins where you have to report your progress. Trust me, this works.

Once you crush that priority task? Go back to Step 2 and repeat.

Your UN-done list doesn’t have to haunt you. It can be your launchpad to bigger wins to next quarter. Let’s go!
