Sales Equinox

This Saturday, September 23rd is the autumnal equinox in the northern hemisphere and the vernal equinox in the southern hemisphere. When daylight and night’s darkness are roughly equal.
That got me thinking about things, for inside sales, that need to be in balance.
Activities that are roughly equal in their importance, while relying on one over the other don’t work long-term.

  • leadership without management will fail, and management without leadership will as well.
  • prospecting activity without research… and researching without outbound outreach – neither can be successful.

 Today, I challenge you to make your own Sales Equinox Activity List. Then make sure you are putting in time – energy – effort that are roughly equal into both.
