I have been choosing a word for an annual theme for a while (last year was flexible; including both the physical and how I think) – they usually find me vs. me choosing a word. 2023’s came to me a week ago:

It works in so many ways.
- what do I want to do NOW?
- what will I let go of NOW to create the space to do that?
- Do it NOW!
- The time is NOW!
- Call NOW!
- Where are you NOW?
- Buy it… Apply… Register… NOW!
- NOW what?
- be here NOW!
It’s grounded in the present. I can use it to take action, to pause, to move into the future.
Then I saw it used as an acronym and I was hooked
