Way back in 1998, my region made goal for the year – Starman (as it’s called) you can see why from the picture.
I haven’t kept most of the sales awards I’ve received over the years… this one is the leadership award that still means the most to me.
Team success is, in my opinion, the way to measure the success of your leadership. Granted that is not only the company’s measurement of their success -> it also needs to include THEIR personal goals (as defined by them) being achieved.
Which is why, the only thing that would have made 1998 sweeter; is if all the individual salespeople on my team had made their personal goals.
