A sales leader, who used to work for me, still talks about how I made her do something that made her want to throw up every day. I’m sure you ask the people on your team to do things that make them uncomfortable – stretch WAY beyond what they find easy… familiar…
Today I’m going to ask you a question: when is the last time YOU did something that SCARES YOU?
It isn’t what scared you when you were a salesperson, the things that scare you have changed… the role you’re in is certainly different as well.
Sit with that for a moment.
Then decide what you’re been avoiding because you’d rather never do it. Think through things that are routine – that would make you uncomfortable if you didn’t do them.
Every day this week – do at least one thing that scares you.
