Hello, my name is Lynn, I’m a Book Wyrm (yes I spelled that correctly) a book DRAGON – hoarder – a woman who believes there can never be enough unread books because of the horror that would ensue if there were NOTHING to read.
Of course, I also keep books that I believe I could want to reread to avert that same potential catastrophe.
The four books I’ve written about (am writing about) this past year include:
- Elite Sales Strategies by Anthony Iannarino
- Sell Without Selling Out by Andy Paul
- Look Me in the Eye by Julie Hansen
- Sell Different by Lee Salz
In my plan to read SOON pile are these two:
- Side B Remix Your Leadership Style by Paula White
- Building a Story Brand by Donald Miller
I am also in two book-work groups (these are workshop sessions where you read a chapter, discuss – then DO something with it for the next week, discuss – rinse and repeat until you’re done with the book):
- The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiez
- Nudge by Richard Thaler and Cass Sunstein
PLUS here is the list of books that are super close to me because I end up grabbing my copy while in virtual training classes and meetings to directly quote the authors:
- Leverage Your Best, Ditch the Rest, by Scott Blanchard and Madeline Homan
- Atomic Habits by James Clear
- Now, Discover Your Strengths by Marcus Buckingham & Donald Clifton
- What Great Salespeople Do by Mike Bosworth and Ben Zoldan
- The Myth of Multitasking, by Dave Crenshaw
- Steal Like an Artist by Austin Kleon
- The Field Guide to Sales by Debbie Mrazek
- Switch by Chip & Dan Heath
You’ll perhaps notice I didn’t link all these books to anywhere, that is because I’ll also throw out two ideas:
- Go to AN actual brick and mortar, locally owned, bookstore to browse – see what strikes your fancy and buy it!
- Check out your local library and see what you can borrow (hey you can always buy it later if you too are a Book Wyrm.
Ravenously Reading,
Lynn
