Decide what to leave behind

I’m confident you already know the year is ending. Like most people in sales, you’ve probably been pushing – pulling – poking – prodding to get every last thing DONE.

Which doesn’t give you much time for reflection.

One of the important things to do before you begin anew is to decide what you want to leave behind.

The things you NEVER want to repeat (if you can help it).

The rubbish you’d like to burn –

  1. mental trash
  2. disappointments
  3. not setting daily goals
  4. rushing instead of being thorough
  5. my imposter syndrome
  6. bad sales strategies
  7. overthinking
  8. forgetting to celebrate little wins
  9. wasting time
  10. not recognizing successes

Funny thing is that isn’t a top 10 list; those are a sampling of what people shared they were trying to leave behind at the end of this year.

Before you focus on what you want for the new year, make sure to lighten the burden you’re carrying and get rid of the things you want LESS of or NONE of in your world.
