You’re an inside sales leader… a manager of sales tasks and activities… what is the MOST important thing you can do with your time? (because I believe the only things we control are how we spend our time and our attitude)
I was working through an exercise with a team of front line managers recently to determine their priority list, not surprisingly everyone had differing opinions on what that single most important thing was.
Near the end of our session one of the team said “Hey Lynn what would yours be?”
I looked a the list they had created and replied “Instead can I tell you what I think is missing?”
They agreed.
You have a lot of important things and great ideas on your list – you even have accountability in there – yet you haven’t made it a priority to catch the salespeople on your teams doing the RIGHT things. The things that show you they’re working on corporate, team, individual priorities and goals.
Without doing that, consistently every single day – how will you notice the precursors to success? even success itself?
They decided to add Catch Them Doing The RIGHT Things! to their daily priority list.
