Recently a very experienced, successful salesperson was participating in a blitz day I was running and said;
“We should have waited until next month – companies are still not opened.”
for the record.. this same salesperson found 3 opportunities, with new prospects, in the two, 2-hour BURSTfocus sessions that day.
Granted – it took more dials, more conversations, and there certainly were companies still closed and people who weren’t receptive to even having a conversation.
3 net new opportunities in 4-hours is why NOW is when to prospect.
I’d take that every day, how about you?
