Emotional Control or Be Controlled

I’ve been feeling a bit frazzled and out of sorts lately. Luckily I know and believe I can control my attitude.

That doesn’t mean it’s easy.

So I’ve taken steps – that work for me, yours will probably be completely different.

  1. complete news and social media black out – one day per week minimum.
  2. talk with someone positive 5x daily.
  3. do SOMETHING that brings me joy every. single. day.
  4. physically move when I feel my stress level rise.
  5. read AND write about emotional intelligence all month.
  6. practice something I’ve read – diligently – each day without fail.

See, for me that combination of reading, writing, talking, and doing makes emotional control possible.

Your path may look differently, the roadblocks you face might be unrecognizable from my perspective, yet that doesn’t change the fact that you can control your attitude!

is how you spend your time!
