Here are my top 3 places I look for inspiration:
- outdoors > I always feel inspired when I go outside and walk… ski… kayak… bike. It doesn’t matter what I’m doing, Mother Nature seems to supply a view that takes my breath away.
- art > music, paintings, writing, calligraphy, jewelry, photography, sculpture; it doesn’t matter I am in constant awe of people’s creativity and their ability to create.
- reading > from Austin Kleon on art and creating through William Shakespeare’s plays to the fantasy of David Eddings, I find joyful inspiration when I’m reading.
I guess the important part isn’t where you look for inspiration, rather that its important to be looking.
Always remember – you can’t be inspired if you’re not paying attention & looking for inspiration!
