Have you ever noticed that a salesperson’s favorite answer is “It Depends”, regardless of your question?
Why? The reason varies, here are a few you may recognize!
They all begin with – I don’t want to;
… make a commitment
… be wrong
… disappoint you
… jinks it
… fail
Here are some ways to overcome “it depends” (they probably sound familiar from the context of questions we ask prospects and customers);
> knowing things may change…
> based on what we know now…
> what does your gut tell you…
> if you had to guess…
Change the question and remove “it depends” from your conversations!
