I’ve been working with a few front line sales maanagers and reailized something I hadn’t noticed before.
Because of how difficult a job they have, many decisions reduced to either or scenarios. Even when it doesn’t serve anyone’s best interest.
Today as you go about your business, instead of Yes vs. No – Right vs. Left – Up vs. Down – Either vs. Or… begin to add a third option.
> Yes, No, and Yes if _______
> Right, Left, plus straight
> Up, Down, add Float
> Either, Or, how about AND
A whole new world of possibilities opens up when you realize not all decisions are “either or.”
