Hopeful Outlook = #InsideSales #Success

When you think about inside sales success – do you think about having a hopeful outlook? Now is a good time to answer that question!

I’ve been listening to a show called To The Best Of Our Knowledge and their series on hope. Hope: Where Does It Come From? aired Saturday, March 4, 2023 and then Hope: How Do You Make It? on Saturday, March 11, 2023. I believe there are two more editions in the coming weeks.

It’s been making me think about hope as it relates to sales (among other things). In particular having a hopeful outlook – believing that the best can really happen.

This, of course, doesn’t mean you can ONLY hope and not do anything. Instead think about fostering a true belief that you will be successful:
* in a conversation
* building trust
* winning a deal
* hitting goal
* earning a promotion

Whatever goal(s) you are working toward – having a hopeful outlook about reaching them, will keep you going.

This week keep track of the ways you keep your outlook on the positive side.

  1. What actions are you taking to breed successful outcomes?
  2. How can you impact your own attitude about how a day has gone?
  3. What makes you want to come back and do it all over again tomorrow?

Inside sales is hard! Make sure you aren’t being worn down (slowly) in attitude, outlook, and desire.
