What’s your favorite part? #InsideSales #Success

I have a crazy question: what’s your favorite part? of your inside sales job.. career… work…

When I ask people that question: even inside the same organization – the answers are as varied as the people who are answering!

  • prospecting – because I love that moment when people shift from being skeptical to believing I can help.
  • closing a deal – the feeling of winning.
  • making goal – I thrive on exceeding expectations and that is one step along the way.
  • making the second sale – knowing that I achieved what I committed to for a new customer, and they are coming back for more.

Four different views of favorite things… what is your favorite part of your inside sales job?

All four answered my next question, with a resounding YES: If you put yourself in a position to do MORE of that, will you be MORE successful?

Then the effort came in – everyone I’ve had this conversation with has to think, then separate out what is in (and outside) their control!

How can YOU make that happen?

Answering takes effort – then making sure you don’t fall into a routine that you’ve created for yourself requires daily mindful practice… all to make sure you leverage your favorite part of what you do.

Every day – putting in effort to have more of what you love about your job AND that makes you successful, makes every day you’re working something to look forward to.
